7 Years and Counting with Islandview

lorri group2August trip ~

After limiting out on Cohos for the day, Captain Bones made a short trip to a rock pile to harvest some Black Bombers, deckhand Jake was busy putting jigs on everyone’s lines, when Boens looked at my line which had an old plug herring on it and send it to the bottom.  After hitting bottom, I cranked it up two turns and a 30 lb. King was on!  It was my first king of the trip, but not the last.

Captain Bones and our deckhand along with the other Captains at IslandView are on the water every day.  They are at the top of their game and know where and how to put you on the fish.  They also take a personal interest in everyone that steps on their boats.  Kevin McNamee truly has the best staff on and of the water in Southeast Alaska.  After fishing four days, IslandView sent us home with six 50 lb boxes of processed fish.  Thanks for the memories and the fish!  We are 7 years straight fishing at IslandView and counting!
